Swimming in Aruba

Aruba has no shortage of watersports for you to enjoy. There is something for everyone, whether it be mellow and even relaxing or it be for the extreme adventure seeker. For those looking to do some swimming in Aruba, there are many options, including some of the world's best beach swimming.

Palm Beach and Eagle Beach have seven miles of calm and clean water that is perfect for swimming. Continue south just a bit more to Manchebo Beach and Druif Beach for more great swimming water. Near the northwestern tip of Aruba, Arashi Beach has gentle currents that work well for swimming. Baby Beach and Rodgers Beach in Seroe Colorado, at Aruba's southern tip, have good water for wading far out in still waters. Beware of the rough water along the northeast side of the coat. One exception on the northeast side of the island is Aruba's "natural pool," which can be accessed via horse back or Jeep expeditions. It is beautiful and worth the trip if you are looking for something a bit different from the miles of Aruba's beautiful beaches.
